Valentine's Day/ White Day Chocolate

In South Korea and Japan, girls give boys chocolates on Valentine's day, and boys give girls candies on a day called "White day" or March 14. So, to help the boys who are wondering what they should give their girlfriends on this day, I am uploading a post about how to make chocolates today! Girls, don't feel bad; you can use the recipe to make chocolates for your boyfriends too!

Needed materials and ingredients:
- Two bowls and two pots
- Two spatulas
- Deco pens
- Two pipping bags
- Couverture Chocolate (I bought dark chocolate and white chocolate)
- Sprinkles, nuts (you can use other ingredients to decorate the chocolates!)
- Chocolate mold or cupcake papers

How to make it!

1. Put a bowl in a pot with water, and put some chocolates when the water starts to boil. Then, mix them well with your spatulas.(Be careful not to have any water go inside the bowl with the chocolates!!)

While the chocolates are melting, you can cut some nuts into smaller pieces for decoration later on.

2. When the chocolates melt completely, take out the bowl from the water, and put it in a pot of cold water until cools down a little.

3. Put the melted chocolate in the pipping bags, then put it in the chocolate molds or cupcake papers.

4. Decorate them with deco pens, sprinkles, and nuts!

5. Cool them for about one hour, and you have your handmade chocolates!

Happy White day!

March 7 Pro Basketball Game between SK Knights and Jeonjaland

http://blog.naver.com/cd02y?Redirect=Log&logNo=80045136825

My school's varsity girls basketball teammates and I went to watch the pro basketball game between SK Knights and Jeonjaland at Jamsil. This meeting with the teammates was as a banquet after the basketball season; this game between the two teams was also the last game of the 09-10 pro basketball season. It was a home game of SK Knights, so I could see all the fans of the team gathered up at the stadium. My teammates and I were given the cheering tools for SK Knights, and it was really fun shouting out the names of the players who scored points, and singing along with the cheerleaders to cheer for the team. However, I felt awkward in a place where everyone was a great fan of SK Knights because I wasn't a fan of neither SK Knights nor Jeonjaland. When everyone booed at the Jeonjaland players when they were shooting free shots, I felt bad for them because they would have been extremely discouraged by the loud noises and cheers from the SK Knights fans.
The result was quite obvious after listening to the loud cheers from the SK Knights fans. SK Knights won with an overall score of 56 to 49. In the beginning of the game, Jeonjaland was winning with several three point shots, but near the end of the game, SK Knights caught up with Jeonjaland, and showed its real skills in front of its fans.
Watching this game was a great experience for me as I could see and learn many basketball skills from the pro basketball players who showed amazing skills.

Handmade Stickers and Labels

I found an interesting blog while serfing the net! It's a Naver blog (a popular Korean site, which is similar to Yahoo or Google in the states) by Kayoung Kang (Dayotzzang), and it contains many posts about handmade stickers, manhua, DIY, and her daily life. All of her posts are very funny and interesting to read. Also, she is apparently very talented in drawing and taking photos. For now, I will attach only some of the handmade works done by Kayoung.
First, there is a time table drawn by her. Just color it and fill it in with your daily schedule so that you can manage your time wisely!

Second, these are already colored labels you can use right away! With these pretty labels, you'll never use any of your belongings!

Third, vintage pattern stickers! Use them to decorate your diaries, calendars, and other belongings!

Fourth, design tapes! Don't leave any space empty, but decorate them with the pretty design tapes! You can cut them into separate pieces and use them right away!

Hungry? Decorate your diaries or calendars with images of delicous foods!
